Slay Squad Register Here

Western Sydney Whitewater Club are proud to get behind Slay Squad 2.0. The second round of the Slay Squad initiative. Kicking off in term 3 2024.

An initiative to introduce and support young girls in the wonderful world of Canoe Slalom. We are looking specifically for girls aged 10-14 years.

We are passionate about empowering girls to do hard things, so that the next generation of Jess Fox-Kick-Butt paddlers can emerge. To show our commitment to girls in sport the program will support all tuition fees, boat and gear loan, race and camp fees from the beginning of the program it's completion in December.

The goal: By summer 2025, our Slay Squad 2.0 will be ready to progress their slalom skills by learning basic whitewater skills. Once paddlers have completed the program the Slay Squad will graduate into our WSWC slalom academy where individuals will continue to hone skills and confidence on the water. All while having the friendship and support of their fellow club paddlers and coaches, being part of a greater community network.

The commitment:
